Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester

Martindale abrasion and pilling tester to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of all kind of fabrics.

The machine is designed to subject specimens under test to a controlled amount of rubbing at comparatively low pressures and in continuously changing directions to ensure that all surface fibers on the specimens are flexed in order to compare the resistance of fabrics to abrasion.

The pattern traced by the sample heads is the well-known Lissajous figure.

Complete with two sets of weights to provide the forces of 9 and 10kpa specified and abradent loading
